Esmont Maria
Graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute, the department of press artists.
Member of the Union of Moscow Artists, of the Association of Press Artists, of the International Art Fund. Chairwoman of the Creative Association of women-artists "IRIDA" since 1989.
In graphics she works in the techniques of tempera, pastel, with pen and ink in the combination with watercolour. She is a book and magazine artist-designer.

In her numerous creative trips in Russia and former Soviet Republics, she made a series of works, depicting a unique image of every region in landscapes, architecture, genre painting. Her trips to the countries of Europe, South-East Asia, the United States gave birth to a series of generalized images of the cities of the world: New-York, Cologne, Venice and others.
In her creative work she gives priority to the theme: the road to the Shrine - the theme of spirituality, the quest for Truth.

She is an active participant of art exhibitions in Russia and exhibitions staged by "IRIDA" Women-Artists Association abroad: Germany (1990, 1993, 1994), France (annually 1992-1998), USA (1993), Belgium (1994, 1997, 1999), Egypt (1995), England (1996), Austria (1999). Over 10 individual exhibitions in Moscow. One individual exhibition in the National Gallery of Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 1989 and one in the Cultural Center of Jacques Prevert at Villeparisis, France, in 1992.

Prizewinner of Russia's women artists' contest "Spring Salon" in 1993, 1994, 1996, 1998.
Her artworks are in private collections in Russia, Germany, France, USA, Laos, Sri Lanka, Belgium.
